Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry

Writer's picture: Paul DepperschmidtPaul Depperschmidt

Spending a few days in Nashville means a visit to the Grand Ole Opry. The new facility is impressive and is continuously sold out. We were able to get in a back stage tour and a concert.

And right next door was the Opryland Hotel. Great for wandering around and grabbing a bite to eat. Now if we can just figure out how to get our Motor Coach in there......

And we were able to spend some time downtown popping in to clubs to hear the local talent. This girl was by far the best we heard. You could shout out a song from a female singer and she would knock it out sounding just like the artist.

Welcome to our site.  We are Paul & Karen Depperschmidt.  In 2018 we decided that in retirement we would downsize, purge, get a Motor Coach and see North America.  In itself that is not unique.  So we complicated things a bit by including Paul's passion, aviation.  We will be pulling a custom trailer that includes our Kitfox Series 7 airplane.  Follow us as we travel the country and report on what we find.
